Design and Technology Make the Perfect Match

With nearly 40 years of experience, Laurastar created with its new Smart series, not just a new generation of irons but was able to introduce technologies that help making your daily ironing faster, more efficient, and effective.

• The active table, exclusive to Laurastar, is equipped with a fan and vacuum system creating an air cushion or flattening the fabric, with the switch of a button, even before it gets touched by the iron.
• The Laurastar SMART U is equipped with Sens-Steam Technology that recognizes the movements of the iron, releasing steam without the touch of a button.
• The Pulse Steam feature reduces the amount of steam dispersed into fabrics by half to effectively prevent over-steaming and high energy use.
• The iron is equipped with a new 3D aluminium soleplate that ideally distributes the steam over the entire surface which eliminates creases without effort.
• The temperature for the thermostat has been carefully studied and selected for a perfect result regardless of the fabric, from the most robust to the most delicate.

• Finally, the Laurastar Dry Microfine Steam (DMS) preserves the fabric and sanitizes them.These and many other qualities of the LAURASTAR Smart series allow you to reduce your ironing time in half!
• The new Smart series is also equipped with the new Dual Shut-Off Mode. Allowing the user to choose between the default safety setting of shutting off after 10 minutes of non-use or simply staying on until you turn it off yourself.

Smart Connected - For More Effective Ironing

With the new Smart irons, LAURASTAR also introduced a new app that turns your phone into an ironing coach. Giving you advice, tips, and tricks on how to perfect your ironing technique. Connected via Bluetooth, the app will also tell you when to service your iron, allow you to buy products through the app or watch instructional videos.

LAURASTAR Dry Microfine Steam (DMS), A Unique Technology of Hygienic Steaming

Machine-washing with low temperatures or short cycles helps preserve energy. However, this has the side effect of microorganisms like bacteria being able to spread in your textiles. Regular irons cannot eliminate such bacteria; the wet, warm steam can help the spreading of them. This is why Laurastar has developed a highly performant and exclusive hygienic steam system: Dry Microfine Steam (DMS), which naturally eliminates 99.99% of bacteria and fungi and 100% of parasites, leaving the fabric perfectly dry and purified. Scientific tests were conducted for this purpose by an independent Swiss laboratory, Scitec Research SA.

The dry steam will also not shrink or distort your fabrics. Which makes it also a perfect tool for quilting and sewing applications.
